StoryCode Commercial Services Home - Author Services - Booksellers/Wholesale Services - Publishers Services Services for Authors and AgentsStoryCode Manuscript ReportThis service allows authors and agents to code an unpublished manuscript and receive a detailed comparison of the top matches from the StoryCode database. The report breaks down the comparison into individual sections covering the key areas of the StoryCode coding process: The unpublished manuscript code will never appear in the main StoryCode database and will only be visible to anybody with the correct login details. To see an example of the full report click here How Does It Work?When a story is coded on our site we store all the information submitted for each question asked as part of the process. Normally, we use all of the data and draw a single relevancy score based on the full “code”. For the purpose of this report, we take selected data from each subsection of the coding process and calculate a relevancy score based on the subsection data only. This allows a more detailed breakdown of the comparison between the manuscript and the top matches in our database. In addition we display the median match and the worst match. Once the Manuscript has been coded for the first time, we have also developed the ability to edit the code from the original entry and see a revised report.
